Built on only a ¼ acre plot, the tight site demanded vertical expansion of the project. The whole centre is oriented to the qibla (Makkah) direction which is at an angle to the plot. The mosque, on 4 levels, has staggered bays to accommodate the maximum number of worshippers possible in one enclosed space. The tower has commercial space, offices, a madrasah and an apartment.
